When you create a Business Manager, it becomes a central space to manage your business separate from your personal Facebook profile.
Yo will manage your Pages and ad accounts in Business Manager, so you never have to worry about mixing business content with your personal content.
To create a Business Manager account follow the instructions in this link:
When someone visits your site and takes an action (for example, ordering something), the Facebook pixel is triggered and reports this action.
This way, you will know when a customer took an action after seeing your Facebook ad. You will also be able to reach this customer again by using a custom audience.
When more and more conversions happen on your website, Facebook gets better at delivering your ads to people who are more likely to take certain actions (eg. ordering a product). This is called conversion optimization.
After you have created a Facebook Business Manager account, you can then create a Facebook pixel for your site.
To create a Facebook pixel, follow the instructions in this link: Create a Facebook Pixel
In Business Settings in your Facebook Business Manager, copy the pixel ID as shown in the image below.
In the Shopeneur portal, click on : Advertise > Facebook in the side menu
In the ‘Facebook Marketing’ section, click on the Pixel link in the top menu
Add the pixel ID that you copied earlier and click the save button.
- The pixel is now added to your Shopeneur website.
You can test the pixel in the Events Manager in Facebook Business Manager.
Select the pixel and click the ‘Setup’ button. Close the setup wizard.
In the side menu, click on Test Events
Add your site URL and click the Open Website button.
- Interact with your site to test the pixel. You will see the various pixel events being fired.
- The following table lists the pixel events that are triggered by your site.
|Home||ViewHomePage||User views the home page|
|Category||ViewProductCategory||User views a product category|
|Product Details||ViewContent||User views a product|
|Purchased||Purchased||User submits an order|
|Send Message||Contact||User sends a message to the seller|
The PageView event is a standard Facebook pixel event that is triggered for all pages.
The ViewContent event for product details will not work until you add the product to a Facebook Catalog.
- In Events Manager, click on the Overview tab. Here, you will see all the pixel events.
You can now get data on what products are getting the most views, what products are ordered, etc.
Click on the View Details link on the list to see the break down. In the example below, we use the URL breakdown to see the ViewProduct event data.
The product id and name is shown at the end of the URL. In this way, you could see your most viewed products.
